Founded in 2016. Built by family. Grown through referrals.

Z Brothers Inc. was founded in 2016 by Raul Zabaleta Sr. and Raul Zabaleta Jr. — a father-and-son team combining decades of hands-on trade experience with day-to-day project leadership.

The company grew through referrals, repeat customers, investment projects, and complex full-property renovations. Along the way, Z Brothers became heavily involved in its own investment properties and long-term rentals, giving the team practical understanding of how construction decisions affect usability, durability, permitting, and long-term property value.

Today, the strategic priority is growing outside-client remodeling work — especially kitchens, bathrooms, and finished basements — while continuing to take on additions, whole-home renovations, and larger builds where the fit is right.

Raul Zabaleta Sr.

Founder / President

Born in Guatemala, Raul Sr. began working as a mason at a young age and developed early hands-on construction experience there.

He migrated to the United States in 1989 and settled in Philadelphia in 1990. After roughly 25 years at Cardone, he returned to construction professionally around 2012, working with multiple construction companies to expand his trade knowledge.

His project experience includes new dormitory construction at Temple University. In 2016 he co-founded Z Brothers Inc. with his son Raul Jr.

Raul Zabaleta Jr.

Vice President / Project Manager

Born and raised in Philadelphia and the eldest son of Raul Sr., Raul Jr. co-founded Z Brothers Inc. in 2016 and oversees project management and daily operations.

Prior to Z Brothers he worked with the Transportation Security Administration.

Alex Zabaleta

Project Manager / HVAC Specialist

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Alex brings a skilled-trades background with a focus on HVAC.

After time in healthcare sterile processing he returned to HVAC work and now oversees HVAC-related projects for Z Brothers.

Jussara Lopez

Project Manager / Permit Expeditor Specialist

Jussara brings more than seven years of project-management experience and a bachelor's degree in Business.

Her background includes permit expediting, violation clean-up, construction strategy, regulatory compliance, and navigating municipal approval processes.

Family Business, Professional Coordination

Family accountability. Professional project coordination.

The working team includes family members and trusted trade partners for larger scopes. The family may divide across multiple simultaneous projects, using subcontractors where additional speed or specialization helps — while detail-sensitive work stays closely managed by the family.
